What's it worth? Take a photo and find out.

AntiqRate tells you what your antique likely is, when it was made and what it could be worth, with the reasons behind the price and a confidence level.

AntiqRate result screen for a Satsuma Earthenware Vase, Ceramics & porcelain, Meiji period, c. 1890–1910: medium confidence from 1 photo, an estimated value of $420 – $680 with a median of $540, marked as an AI estimate not based on market listings, and a "Why this price?" link.

How it works

One to three photos. One honest answer.

  1. Photograph the front, underside & mark

Take 1 to 3 photos. The front, the underside and the maker's mark give the best result.

  2. Get a value range with reasons

A likely name, era, maker and condition, a low-to-high value range and a confidence level, in seconds.

  3. Plan every piece

Keep, sell, donate or pass it on. See your total, and create PDF reports with Pro.

Reasons, not guesswork

Every value comes with its reasons.

  • “Why this price?” lists the reasons behind the estimate in plain language
  • A confidence level on every result. When the photos aren't enough, you see the closest candidates and which photo would help
  • Similar listings from major marketplaces and auction houses, each marked Sold, Auction estimate or Asking. They may not be the same item
  • With Pro, correct a detail such as the maker, era or condition, and re-value the item
AntiqRate Similar listings for the same vase: 2 sold, 1 auction estimate and 3 asking. The first three show $485 and $620 marked Sold and $540 marked Auction estimate, each with the marketplace or auction house, above a note that they may not be the same item and that asking prices are often higher than what items sell for.
AntiqRate inventory screen: an estimated total of $2,085 ($1,590 – $2,620) for 7 items, with counts for Keep, Sell, Donate, Family and Undecided, and the items grouped by plan with their value ranges.

FAQ

Questions, answered.

Is this a certified appraisal?

No. This is an AI estimate, not a certified appraisal. Actual sale prices depend on condition, provenance, demand and the market. For insurance, legal or tax purposes, ask a qualified professional appraiser.

How accurate is the estimate?

Every result shows a confidence level: high, medium or low. When the photos aren't enough, AntiqRate says so, shows the closest candidates and tells you which photo would help, often the underside or the maker's mark. With AntiqRate Pro, you can correct a detail such as the maker or the condition and re-value the item.

Where do the similar listings come from?

After a result appears, AntiqRate searches major marketplaces and auction houses for similar items, using a text description, never your photos. Each listing is marked Sold, Auction estimate or Asking. They're there for comparison: they may not be the same item, and asking prices are often higher than what items sell for.

What happens to my photos?

They're sent for analysis only after you allow it, to identify and value your item, and they're deleted from our server within 24 hours. They're never used to train AI models. Your inventory stays on your iPhone and in your own iCloud account. The Privacy Policy has the details.

In the app, open Settings and tap Manage or cancel subscription. Or go to iOS Settings → Apple Account → Subscriptions.
